BF2 CD key problem

Hello,
I have bf2 installed onto my comptuer at this very moment. I need to reinstall it soon, it apears that i have miss placed it. I have looked into the Registry to try and find it and all I got was the encripted key (which i think is another one of EA's sceams to get more money). does anyone know how to decifer the key. or know of a way to find it with out it being encripted.

Easy. First. back up that encrypted string. Second, go to Start=> Programs => EA Games => Battlefield 2 => Register this product. Follow the instructions, then go to EA's website, log in with that username you gave and go to My Games, your serial is there.
