its becuz u need to have all of those rewards before you get promoted to master sergeant
from a gunnery sergeant, u can be promoted to either master sergeant or first sergeant. once u become say a master sergeant. u cant turn into a first sergeat, so the next promotion ur looking at is at like sergeant major @ 50,000 ponts -
