***NEED HELP***Punkbuster problem...

Alright, so i got my new pc, i installed bf2, and all that good stuff.

When i go to join a server, i get kicked for having "inadequite O/S ___".

I put an underscore because i forget the last word it says. Its a brand new computer, all the settings are on low.

What i think it is: Vista.


Any help here would be great, i really want to get back on the battlefield.

HELP!

p.s, i didnt see any other thread about this problem. i have cable service to get online.

there is a thread here about that problem somewhere. basically you have to assign the bf2.exe to have administrator rights, or something to that effect.

yes, how do i do that??? (like Control Panel>Settings>etc. etc.)

Right click on your BF2.exe, and click "Run program as administrator..."

if that doesnt work manually install punkbuster. i had that problem too

i figured it out last night/

i had to reinstall bf2, then right click and run as admin

Hi

Find the BF2.EXE and right click on it , Properties > Run This Program As Administrator and click OK

This will work if you have AUC enabled still .
