Best memory for evga 680 sli MB

what do you guys think would be the best memory for this board. looking for memory in the price range of 150 to 250 after instant saving or rebates.

i dont think memory does anything, i have a EVGA 590 SLI with cheapo memory and BF2 runs excellent nice board BTW

The standard for the 680i is DDR2 800. The OCZ Gold XTC DDR2 800 is good.

actually the standard for the MB im getting is DDR2 1200

I have this board and used 5 others without any issues with this ram

Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400C4 - its SLi ram enabled so its good stuff id use it. And unlike many others it works first time and as its corsair it can take a battering!

Just a few pointers, Make sure you upgrade the bios ASAP. If your mobo is the one with the capacitors on the back you may have to mod the back plate of aftermarket coolers. ALWAYS use the NB fan they have been known to overheat and damage the board. There are currently issues with the quad core Core duos but ive been told by evga the next bios release will fix this. Basicly read up on the evga forums as there are lots of known bugs slowly being worked on!

Post on the evga forums for help they know alot there and will be able to awnser any of your questions and ill be there to help!!!
