Stargate : La Relève : limited version RELEASE SOON + Gameplay information
As you know, Stargate: La relève is a Battlefield 2 and 2142 mod that will give you the opportuity to take part of the fight between Goa'uld and Tau'ri on mutilplayer battle up to 64 players.
This time, SGLR team pass a very hard period. No progress, less motivation, no texture artist for our models.
It was very important for us to show that we were still motivated to continue our work.
Working on SGLR is a very long and hard task. We are not many, and we need to see our work progress, and know if it is pleaseant for you players. So we take a great decision.
Let me first first explain you some important features for the final version of the mod.
The mod will have an assymetrical gameplay, wich means that you will not have same tactics, same possibility and strategy in the two differents side.
It was interessant to see, when we were designing features for the mod, that Stargate universe was very rich for gampleplay idea and possibility.
Playing a goa'uld or a SG team member is very attractive.
But what's about playing an Anubis Supersoldier ou Humanoid Replicator ?
This unit have their strength and weakness. These units can be attractive for players that love teamplay, offering assault and defense advantages. In the other side, Tau'ri will be forced to plan strategy, to play in team to progress and win.
This is what we want to create for SGLR. As I said in the begining of this new, it is a long and hard work.
But a part of this work has be done. Main weapons from the show are now ingame, not all (40) but enough to create a limited infantry-only version of our mod.
Additional contents will be added when it will be done, but this part is created and fun to be play, so we decided to release it ! It is of course not the final version, features like Anubis Super-soldier and Humanoid Replicators will not be included, but as we saw, many of you are very exited to play as a jaffa warrior and SG team members.
So the first version of SGLR will be released soon for Battlefield 2 !!!
Only basics of Stargate will be includedenough to play and to have fun during several weeks !!! New features will be include regulary, when the work will be done.
