I just got BF2 and I installed the 1.41 full patch. Everything works okay, but on the main screen of BF2 it says it's still version 1.1. Does that mean it didn't update? Thanks

I'd have to say that means it didn't update. You might want to consider uninstalling BF2, reinstalling, then just installing the 1.41 full patch.

It didn't work. btw, I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium.

I uninstalled BF2
restarted
Reinstalled BF2
ran BF2 successfully
restarted
installed 1.41 Full Patch from:

http://www.ea.com/official/battlefield/battlefield2/us/downloads.jsp

restarted
opened BF2 and it still said it was v1.1
