Oh--Tarraba Quarry, Operation Smoke Screen (especially OSS), Road Rage, Operation Harvest, Fushe...all great places to find extra pieces of armor laying about if you're intent on getting your armor numbers up. You do have to contend with aircraft and other tanks, though, so you won't get numbers quite as fast as hopping in one of the entire map's two tanks and camping the bottom of Karkand's Noob Spawn Hill.

I've done my share of Karktarding, and am enjoying the expansions and less played maps more and more these days. There are fewer people, but that makes the rounds last longer...and makes the satisfying grudges a little more personal.

I think the kill streak of 293 might be a glitch look at his SPM thats preety low for a stat padder

I had this guy once ramming his jeep into my tank causing me Vehicle Damage points... it was getting on my nerves so I said WTF are you doing man! What's your problem?!... he was like.. oh hey I'm tryint to get some repair points!...


Can you fking belieave that?! haha :laugh: andhe just carried on doing so... ramming his jeep into my tank, giving me Vehicle Damage points and reparing my tnak at the same time :S I've got it on fraps... but it was funny and annoying at the same time, how stupid is that.

hahhahaa.. I can just picture that in my head.

As far as 40k since mid nov., I wouldn't say that's a far reach. I myself am a casual BF2 player and picked up 20k in Jan. in 56 hrs.

that is 357 per hour
and that is NOT normal
all the TOP players avg less than 4 pmn
even vloks was only 5 per minute
that = 300 per hour
even BushViper/BabySpinach and [c4]Ghost squaded up and went on rampages in Warlord, they barely broke 300 per hour

I dunno...just looking at my scores (and I'm not-not-not a "great" player but I'm handy in a squad or as CO) I've done several days where I averaged +200 points/hour. I imagine a good player (or alternatively, someone in airplane) could run circles around that.

LOL, next time throw two sticks of C4 on your tank/APC and when he tells you to get out, get out! Than blow him and the tank up!

Respawn, and as soon as the tank respawns, blow it if he is standing there waiting in hope of stealing it from you!

I really appreciate your being humble and honest
but you avg under 150 per game since Nov with only 3 days at 200+ per hour
and one of those was 201

and at your SPM of 1.5 = 90 per hour for the long haul

anyway = my point is that although an occasional hot game or 2 is doable by most of us, I just re-checked the leader board in SPM
and only 5 of those players have over 60 hours in game - most under 40 hours

do you remember when any of us started??? we got ripped
now, if these are experienced players with new accounts
then I bet even money they are hacking/cheating/padding

like I said - I watched 3 of the top players play for weeks together in squads
and they barely broke 300 per hour on a regular basis

You sure got a point. I don't like Karkand but I'm very much in to the medals and badges and next to take is the gold repair badge. I was lack of ~85 repairpoints to be able to get it. My strategy was: "karkand is a fast way to collect repairpoints" and I have managed to get ~70 repair points in 3 evenings.
Still need 15 points before the hard test begins.

Angry as I was.. I did for a couple of times but I found it booring and stupid and I felt ashamed of myself. :-)
