I have been playing since CS 1.5. Source is a good improvement, but also comes with many cheats aswell, especially disadvantages like lag, for instance you could have a ping of 5 & your opponent 100, you try to shoot him but he is laggy like mad, then boom your dead, he killed you, lol its ghey but it happens.

Also the hitboxes are not very accurate, you shoot at the floor & get a headshot. But apart from these, its a cool game.

the hit boxes have a very large lag rate they lag about a person behind a person. was a video some where

I think it's illegal to play CSS once you've reached puberty in 37 states. Laws outside of the US may vary.

I think it should definitely be made into a law in all the states. Or, we could just ship all CS players to Alaska or something. It would do the whole world a big favor and the average IQ would skyrocket :)

My 19 year old brother plays CS 1.6. His friends, also aged from 16-20, play the game. Each and every one of them is a mature human being, considerate player and borderline as sportsmanlike person as you can get.

From my own experience, the sh!t you get in BF2, cannot be compared to CS. Its an urban myth, that BF2 players are generally more mature. Its just a myth.

As a matter of fact Im willing to state- UT2004 has a more mature player base than BF2, and thats another shattered myth.

I bought DoD:S a while back i stopped playing on it because i was lame at it lol.

Its the same engine as CS:S just different maps, weapons and skins. And hack wise? I never seen a hacker but i think i accused a few 1337 guys of using hacks :P

Red Orchestra has the best community

Teamkilling happens alot because its a realism game with no tags so its harder to tell friend from foe but evertime teamkilling happens they always say sorry plus people take turns with vehicles and kits

stuff like that is really good unlike some of the bf2 community especially those who spam wake island

The most mature crowd were the Team Fortress players, or maybe Quake.

Who said BF2 players were mature? The only place where I saw any semblance of such a thing was PR, but guess what - it turned into a flame war.

The CS crowd is much more mature, maybe not the 1337-clanH4X0rz with equally 1337 superiority complexes, but they are.

Why are the most vocal members of the competitive crowd such whiny bitches anyway?

The graphics and the physics in this game ar amazing. you buy your weapons and stuff and alot more to choose from and no ranking to get them. the ingame voice chat is way better in it than in bf2. ive been plaing it for like a year now and its still fun !!!! plus theres several mods for it likke zombie mod and gun game. And you cant forget about surfing man...

Some people dont like the STEAM platform it uses but i love it. you have what ppl call, steam friends, which you can join there games directly off of them. talk to them while in game. and plus the steam platform automatically updates the game for you so you dont have to go out and search for any patches ( Best thing about steam)

definatly 100% should get this game.... at walmart u can get it for 30 bucks with Half life 2 deathmatch and day of defeat source.

and just for fun--Hacks are like a tampon... every pu**y needs one!!
