Not Getting Final Promotion

Ok now I never paid that much attention to my rank or player stats in BF2 however last month after almost 2- years of playing the game I got my 3 star general promotion and according to BFHQ and the BF2S website I should have received my 4 star promotion at the same time based on the percentage to next rank that is showing 100 percent.

When I check the BF2S website I do not see where it says that I am missing any requirements such as ribbons or badges that are required to rank up. I remember that when I check the site prior to getting my 1 & 2 star promotions which I received on the same day there were a few expert badges that I need to get first before I ranked up however I don't see any missing requirements for my final promotion.

My BF2 player name is Chronic_Buzz and my PID is 47794759. If anyone has an answer I would appreciate you sharing it with me.

i maybe u need more expert badges? i can;t find any other requirement that you need......

That’s a load of crap, It took me about 16 months of honest playing to get where I am now in the game and you mean to tell me that the only way that I am going to get my 4th star is to go on some FF off server and nade spam 18 hours a day for points like most of the top then players listed on BF2S.

THE#LORD#OF#WEED PID 67382006 This guy is #1 in the leader boards with over 600,000 global score. Guess how he accomplished that score? Skill you ask I don’t think so. If you look at his stats in detail, this guys plays on the same FF off Strike at Karkand server every day for like 18 hours at a time doing nothing but nade spamming for points. Come on 140,257 nade kills sad. :hmm: This guy has twice as many kills with nades as he does with any other weapon.

It seems more logical to give the final promotion to 4 stars only after a player has earned all their expert badges and ribbons and not based on their global score or position in the leader boards. The reason I say this is that many of us have lives and can not afford to spend 18 hours a day 7 days a week playing on FF off servers nade spamming for points. It would make more sense to award the rank based on this because it would require a player to fulfill requirements rather than point whoring and what amount to sanctioned stat padding to achieve this goal..

LORD#OF#WEED if you read this post I am sorry for picking on you but I call them like I see them and you are the poster child for what is wrong with the ranking system in BF2. I don’t expect anything to change with this because the same incompetent people are still running the program. Yea you guys know who I am talking about so I won’t mention any names.

The thing is this, I don't know if it is true...but LORDOFWEED spoke out whilst playing and said he gets paid .25 cents per nade kill because he gets money from selling weed to coffeeshops....so, this is his day job if he isn't telling a load of sh1t. Like I said HE said this, I don't make up rumors to feel special.

I have more respect for you for not getting the 4 stars. It's not that you don't deserve it, but just as you explained... 90% of the 4 stars are copy-cat clones.

I heard the rumor that he gets paid also. could be true but i doubt anyone is gonna pay $600,000 for some noob to play bf2.

Wpould not worry about it , LOTW got caught playimg on a KP server ;ast week , did EA reset him stats ,,NO do they gove a damm NO .

Seems your gonna have to join the rest of theese tards to get that last star .
