If there is a semi marksman rifle equivalent, it would be the M14, preferably in its SOPMOD variant.



I think the current upgrades fulfill their desired effects. They are all imperfect, and simply adds some new additions and incentives for the players to pursue a higher score.

The rifles are probably as refined and diverse as they can be. What I would like to see are some pistol upgrades. I would accept that Desert Eagle .44 or the .50 were never issued, and thus non-applicable......... However, what about .45ACP pistols? The 1911 variants were issued to SOF units.

In terms of power, I think it should be a mere 25% or 33% more powerful than the 9mm weapons.

just to make bf2 WAAY more fun we should ALL study the fire team system army and marine squads use in real life then apply it to bf2, that would rock.

I think ur right....to hell with the 7.62 sniper rifle....u need the .50 cal.
I love taking down a smoking chopper with the M95.
