some maps dont work in single player

hey I downloaded some bf2 maps because the default ones were boring.
But after i installed the new maps and try to play on it, it loades but when I click join game, it shows the map for secs and than bf2 just shuts down.
Why won't it work?

I don't know but what I know is that bf2 single player is rubbish you should play online you'll get extra maps by default for playing online as well.

well yeah singleplayer is just a training areana, multiplayer is where the fun lies, use single player to leanr how to bomb how to use stuff how to fire grenade laucher, long range sniping...
