Friend has connection problems

Posting this for a friend.

Hi, guys,

I've had BF2 for about six months now and just recently I've started having problems with some servers. On certain servers i will get the message "there is a problem with your connection" and then I will be kicked back to the multiplayer screen. I recently got a new Belkin modem and i read on a site somewhere that people with Belkin routers had had the same problems. I'm not sure if this is the cause but any help you could give me would be appreciated.

My friend has also that problem, but!

I went to his house this weekend and we were both on the same Belkin router.

HE lost connection, I didn't. Wtf?

Could it be the ethernet card or driver? Try a reload of that and maybe it will clear something up. Also, restart the router.
