Flag Defend Points

Well, I was flying the other day, as US on Wake Island. We took the airfield, but they had about 4 infantry on the ground, about to retake it, so I bombed them, got 3 kills, but only one flag defend point. Is that how it is meant to be? Because I could have sworn I have gotten multiple flag defend's in on bombing run before, and also with C4.

All of them were in the radius to cap the flag, they were sitting right at the base of it :)

ive noticed the same thing, though its hard to tell. it does make sense though. if you kill 5 people at one time, you really only defended the flag once.

But it also makes sense that you would get 5 points, because you defended the flag from 5 (or however many) attackers.

And like I said, I know that I have gotten multiple flag defends from C4, hell one time I got like 6 in one blow....

r u sure that u didnt get the points? cuz on ur HUD, bf2 shows like the latest 3 things that u got points for

so maybe u saw

and i think the "Defended flag" message comes b4 the you killed so and so

I think it works like this if you want multipul defends like I got on kark today..

guy 1 walks into flag zone you kill him
+1 kill +1defend
guy 2 walks into the flag zone and so on

I think the guy must be killed before the second enters the flag zone..

Well its kinda comman sense since I check my stats when ever I do play a good round on wake. And I cant really make a video since I dont have a video recording thing on my computer and I am to lazzy to download it how bout me you and someone els get in a ranked server I slaughter you and the with you and you check my score.

Flag cap radius is fairly small. I know Ive gotten flag defends 2 times, for 2 enemies killed, and even more. So my guess is, you probably got flag defends for 1 guy, and didnt get for other 2 as they were running from your bombs.

no you dont get it, I took out a transort vehicle with 3 people in it, got 7 points, it just happened tonight and it was my first points of the game so I know I didnt get them

correct, you only get 1 flag defend point for multiple kills, sux but thats the way it is
