Ch/mec/us - All On One Map?

Is it possible to have MEC, PLA and US all on the same map? They don't necessarily have to be on a team each, like MEC and China could be on one side.

I mean, there is a light soldier and a heavy soldier for each kit so maybe? :)

How could this be done? PM me or reply here.

    Pretty sure it's not possible.

The BF2 engine only allows two teams. "Team1" and "Team2".

Theoretically, I suppose you could make give half of the MEC team PLA weapons and skins.

I haven't done much mapping, but do you think it'd be possible to add a team3? Copy the spawns, etc... but then you'd have to edit the Spawn menu to allow all three teams...

Don't think so, but I'm only going from what I've been told by some of the PR dev team.

Only 2 teams allowed per map - it's an engine limitation.

            There is a 3rd team.

But it can only be neutral other wise the game crashes.

Bot spawning and adding another team are two completely different things. :)

That makes sense... add a team 4, maybe? :)

Well that would be completely unfair. you see the US is in this for Gold (Oil) God (Omnipotent presence) and Glory (World Power) and the J-10 AND the Frogfoot would rape the face off of USMC players, besides MEC is a bit radical and would not likely take to the hard work-driving Chinese. (Ever see Syrianna?)

                  That didn't make any sense.

                    Would be possible.
                    Some hud changes.
But then all the commands to put you on that team.

It is possible to mix the soldiers of two armies on a single team in one sense. You could replace the Chinese engineer with the MEC engineer or vice-versa for example just by replacing them in the map's init.con. (One of the original SP map mods did this.)
