Whats the deal with?

ok first off i have just recently joined these forums.

And ever since i have been hearing alot of stuff about:

Karkland

j-10's

knife and pistol only maps.



and some other stuff.. i got a small idea of what the problem is.. but for a new player could anyone clairify what these things mean and why i as a player should look out for them?

ahh lets see..

karkand- my favorite map. a lot of people simply dont like it because of all of the grenade spammers. they say its filled with noobs. i could really care less. you dont need to look out for karkand, go there, play, have fun. its the best map for close combat.

j-10- perhaps the most abusively powerful thing in the game. its the PLA jet that overpowers everyone that gets in its path. no other jet really stands a chance

K&P servers- just as it sounds. people running around with knives and pistols. it used to be someone accepted but now everyone goes nuts about it. I havent been on one, but now its against ROE to play on a ranked K&P server (i think? someone correct me if im wrong)

i see you are against karkand. i really do not understand that, unless its IO or FF off. i hate those. i have 450 hours at kark and nobody hates me! (except the one i just mentioned in the last thread i made, but thats not because of karkand ) karkand in my opinion is the best map to get used to the game, as long as you arent worrying about flying right away.

Karkand can be a fun map, even in IO, just find good servers.

The J-10 is powerfull, and even unbalanced, but its not impossible.

Knife and Pistol servers will get your stats wiped apparently, unless they are unranked.

i see you are against karkand. i really do not understand that, unless its IO or FF off. i hate those. i have 450 hours at kark and nobody hates me! (except the one i just mentioned in the last thread i made, but thats not because of karkand ) karkand in my opinion is the best map to get used to the game, as long as you arent worrying about flying right away.

yea ill admit it, i have lots of fun on karkand, more intense than the other maps because of the close combat, nice to pop into one after work to relieve work blues, but constantly smokin' the same people over and over as they scream ZOMG H4X because they have carpel tunnels and are far to slow to react around corners makes you get alot of hate in chat, as they get banned for cursing and swearing at you lol, i bet some of us have caused a few broken keyboards on the other side.

I stopped playing Karkand the day I got three back to back kick votes.

The first one, was 2 seconds after I killed the dude with a shotty.

The second...I have no clue who it was.

And the third, I accidentally TK'd someone.
