its simple become squad leader and then fly to the chinese airfield bail out and have your squad spawn in on you and take the flag. but you should stay hidden because after you take their enemy airfield you will become a victim of what I have dubbed the noob blitz.

Once you have taken the flag the infantry waiting for vehicles may come after you and the focus of the other chinese forces will turn from raping the carrier to taking back the airfield. if you stay hidden it gives your guys the chance to still spawn on you if they do lose the flag.

the only way to defeat the Noob Blitz is to get your team to spawn on the airfield and hold it untill the enemy air assets have all been destroyed this will give your team total control of the air. Even if your team fails to notice the airfield was captured and spawn there they will have an easier time capping the flags they were going after with the chinese defense spread out.

If you are in a clan or gane with alot of the same people alot then i reccomend that you install BF2 ATC and come up with a game plan it will help you out alot.

I find taking both north and south base and splitting the team up between them works the best. 2 tanks on both sides, 2 F-35s, the attack chopper (and if you can make a big enough distraction, you can steal their one and they're finished), and what have they got? 2 J10s which, if the F-35 pilots / chopper pilots are competent enough, can be grounded permanently, and a single tank and some FAVs. And of course, their chopper.

The key to winning this map is keeping the J10s on the ground, it doesn't get any simpler than that. If you cap Airfield, you leave yourself open to either getting the attack heli on the carrier stolen, or an F-35, or you get raped silly by the chinese forces coming at you from all sides. But if you take the other bases (north base, village and south base), then have a full blackhawk cap the airfield, you can push them to the beach, which is ridiculously hard to even move around when you have 3 jets and 2 choppers and 3 tanks coming at you.

As for china, the best way to repel them is to have a really good chopper team. You can single (well, double) handedly stop any chances of the US making it onto the island by TVing the blackhawks, boats and chopper, and gunning down the infantry and as for the F-35 pilots that bail to cap a flag, they're easily dealt with.

China has a ridiculously long game on this map, it's annoying.

hmm i kinda disagree a J10 can only do so much damage i think taking the south base is more important as the beach can then be taken easily as most of the chinease team spawns at the northern base ive got to admit i do as well cos i want ot kill the noobs always hide in the plane wreckage as i sniper as you then get a good view of anyone trying to sneak round. but as an american sniper ive gone round that side and got four kills straight away from 2 guys hiding at the tail end of the plane and being revived by the medic.

once you as an american sniper get to the plane wreckage chuck a few claymores around just incase they come back to finnish the job. But now that youve removed the majority of the sniper threat friendly troops can get up to the north base more easily.
any way i digress.

yeh take the southern bases then the air feild and you have won unless your team are all noobs and you are playing against some l33t doods.

yea but some people are stupid and dont like teamwork in pubs, i hate that and I only see a little bit of it not the whole server... but yea taking airfield = a win deff.

I also hate on 24/7 wake K[*]K server are the noobs that get into a chopper with me and they dont know how to tv nor shoot right :\ or seeing one in a plane or chopper crash instantanioulsy.

urgh i know wat you meen the other day i had been flying round with this guy in this chopper on wake and he was a dam good flyer and we got loads of kills but eventualy we got killed by enemy a jet. then i got into another chopper and the guy flying it just went up and plummeted head first into the ground lol i got team killed 11 times or killed by team stupidity eg driving me into open ground wen i was quite happy mowing them down were i was in cover.

there are too many noobs when ur in a chopper. if they want it that bad they snipe u out and take it unfortunatly there isnt much u can do about it but not forgive them.

the best way to win wake is to parachut onto one of the roofs at the airbase with a sniper and get ur team to spawn on u. the other team cant find u and u can snipe very easily.

as usmc... yes, I will keep the second j10 grounded while I hunt and kill the first one that probably got up. Once both are grounded, I use my 25 second windows between j10 spawns to kill the attack helo, once that is done I just keep the j10s down and bomb a tank between each j10 kill. People always get on the aa at the airfield, and sometimes the one at beach, they are very easy to dodge locks on and you can alternatively just strafe the crap out of them even if they are empty, you usually kill the poor schmuck standing next to it thinking hes safe cause he didnt jump in it. Alot of people will cuss you out and call you a dirty spawn raper, but by keeping the j10s and attack helo down you opena huge opportunity for a landing for usmc. also support your attack helo by killing aa positions, youll make his life alot easier.

As China...That first J10 is crucial, and will make or break the battle, if you are new to flying stay the hell out of the j10 on this map, same goes for the helo. now that you got the j10 haul *** to the north tip and kill that first boat trying to make a landing, give your attack helo time to get over there and take them out. In truth the j10 is more of a supplement to the attack helo for china and supports it. Stay away from the carrier, you will be too busy killing the black hawks, F35s, attack helos, boats and aa in that order. the guys on the carrier arent a threat, the ones inbound to cap flags are, sweep far north and far south for the sneaky bastards trying to evade you and peeking up to 500 feet time to time for that sneaky black hawk, a good commander can make this a impenetrable defense. kill that aa on the center island for your attack helo even when its empty, if you do that all he has to do is pound the boats and black hawks. tell him to spot the cobra, if he does kill it and kill it fast, if he goes down you will have to work alot harder until he gets back in position. as for the F35 bail out you can intercept the f35 easily but try to hit him with guns before hiting him with a missle so hes a one shot kill with a missle, when you lock him up he will most likely pull up, when he does keep him in the bottom edge of your targeting hud, his flares will drop down and he will pull up, you will not even lose lock, bang he's dead, if he doesnt pull up at all and just pop flares, thats a dead give away hes going to bail, empty your guns into hes aft until hes a roman candle, alot of times even if he does bail you can see where he landed and drop bombs on him when youturn around, even better if a couple of people spawned on him right before you drop the bombs. usually i can kill them with guns only not giving them a chance to even bail, even if he does bail, you usually made him either bail over open water or at a flag other than airfield. Now lets say he has a squad form on him and they cap a flag other than airfield, you have 2 j10s, try to coordinate with the other pilot so one of you pounds that flag while the other maintains a patrol over the center island for any incoming helos, jets or boats, as for the j10 pounding the enemy flag you should target vehicles primarily WITH GUNS, save the bombs for the tank, make them have to run on foot if they want to move, if it has wheels... turn it into a flaming coffin, kill the aa obviously at that flag and as you attak the vehicles look behind you infantry on the ground, think of the common spots where they wait for vehicles and edges of walls, bunkers, strafe them, get those bullets in the window of the bunker, make it so they are better of spawnin on the carrier. infantry will start to hug the edge of walls of buildings, do long sweeps with that nose cannon along the edge of walls especially corneers, lput a round in every square foot along the edge of the building, dont hit anything? hit another side of the same building on the next pass. Trust me, when they hear that cannon hitting over and over they will try to get the hell out of dodge, when they do you hit the car with the cannon.

To much to read but, have a team mate spawn in on you and start another squad, so you have two squads, on capping and another as back up.

God I would LOVE it if that could ever happen. I even type out "Please squad up and join me over the airfeild" and I get nothing. 25% of the people want the chopper, 50% of the people want the jet, and the rest just want to make it to the island without getting raped!

here is my way of wining , its not easy as urs but i also like to share. first we make a squad 2 mem will take a the attack chopper and rest all go by boat , by the time the boat reach the land the chopper will take down the tank and other ppl on the north base and, from there we go directly to the north village capturer it and all the guys will spawn there.

good strategy, another great one is to fly the blackhawk up to 600+ feet as squad leader and hover above the field, the j10s NEVER go that high and theyll NEVER know you are there because they are too busy carrier raping to care about their team. Also have someone steal the chinese transport chopper and start a new squad then youll have TEN guys spawning and falling from the skky...so l33t

Or if you are on the ground as SL KEEP MOVING when your buddies die you dont want them to keep spawning in the same place, if you keep moving around the perimeter of the fild form cver to cover and staying hidden, when they die they will spawn and atatck from the elft, then next time the right and while some guys die and some guys die 5 secodn slater the first guys will spawn on you and the second guys will spawn on you but you will be in a different spot, it it much ahrder to defend the airfield with enemies coming from all over.

Also try camping the chinese airfield with the m95, snipe people wating for aircrft and snipe people out of aircraft

I use that strategy to and it is a good one if you have more then 3 or 4 people. even though the SL should not do much fighting he can help in capping the flag quicker. but if you only have 2 or 3 peoploe its harder to take the flag witht hat method as you will only have one or two guys on the ground.

but if you can do that with a squad of 6 there is no way your team can lose a round.
