question about the future

since i have been caught up un the 2142 $hit hole, i was wondering if another BF game was coming out?? like BF3?? i think they should leave the game the way it is but add more maps and more modern weapons and im not talking about a booster pack im talking about a whole new game:) have you guys seen future weapons with that AS50 semi automatic sniper rifle??thats what we need in BF3, the booster packs were let downs and i think if BF3 was made it would be awesome. Even subs would be a cool idea:) imagine diving underwater in a sub?? the only thing I'm worried about is EA and D.I.C.E. messing the game up like 2142

-someone said something about a BF3 or something coming out for consoles sometime in the near future.
-AS50 would most likely ruin the game. its too good. if you have ever played C&C Renegade its like the "noobjet" rifle. 1 shot kills anywhere.
-subs would be awesome. i would love to have naval battles again. like 1942 except more ships. imagine something along the lines of coral sea with carriers facing off. dogfights and bombings everywhere.

the carrier could be like the transport chopper cept on water and with more guns! one person could drive and the rest would shoot at peopel!....that might make it too easy to get points though unless only the driver got points for each of their gunners kills....everyone would fight for driver. DONT SCREW THIS UP EA

Since BF2 was a decendent of BF1942 and BF:Vietnam, the 2 really stands for the second battlefield engine (first was refractor 2).
Here's the analogy -
BF Vietnam:BF1942::BF2142:BF2

Anyone who doesn't think 2142 is just an expensive mod pack is wrong.

Anyway, my point is that BF3 would mean a new battlefield engine... and since 2142 is >6 months old, I wouldn't expect anything any time soon.
