Looking for unranked survers with gamespy
How can you tell if there is any of these when on gamespy.Can you type in under game type?I heard that there is not many anymore.

Consult the sticky above about Qtracker.
Download it, install it, and use it. I doubt you'll ever use any other program for finding BF2 games.
That would be my recommendation. -

yep, and once you install it, grab the bf2 filters and mapshots from my signature. I have an unranked filter in my personal pack you can download."Crunch's First Officer"

Qtracker doesn't work for me... It contacts the master server and downloads the servers, but it stops at about 70% and never displays the servers

Qtracker's developer will probably respond to your post in 24hrs. He'll ask for some details or give his first impression.
Help him out by listing your version, and hardware, and a detailed description of your problem.
Sounds to me like a net type problem. Tell him about your router, ISP provider, or proxy server settings, let him know all that stuff.
I wouldn't doubt he can straighten it out. He's one of the best providers of support for his own program , I have ever seen. He genuinely cares that you have a good experience with Qtracker.Comment

Hey...signa,i installed Qtracker and all the filters but when I refresh servers theres nothing showing under my game BF2,it's the only game I have running now on my pc.
I must not be doing something right.Comment
