anyways....i was just playing on MEC and they were speaking english. why? how? since when?

and also. this is really random and i dont know why im just asking this after 8ish months...but when you leave a server when you're alive, do you get a death counted against you?

1. Do you have the 'English Only VO's' box ticked in your audio options? If not, it likely just a bug.

2. Does it really matter..?

I would assume no.. you don't.

if you are critically wounded and you leave is a death counted againt u?

Go test it out, check your stats, go in a server and die once, go back and check your stats to see if it's updating right away or not, and assuming it is go back into a server and get critically woudned and leave the server (AKA disconnect).

i asked on these forums because im too lazy to test it out for myself, in hope that one of you may have tried it, or know someone who has tried it, or know someone who knows someone who.....

Yes it does. I disconnect sometimes to reset my modem (high ping). When I reconnect to the server I have one death more then before the disconnect.

ha. i left the game 1010 times in the middle. thats a lot of cheap deaths!

I've seen the MEC english bug before..even with English V/O off it happens.

It bothers me cause when someone starts lettin' loose the grenades, I'd like to know who's throwing them.

Yeah, I've seen, or heard, this too. One guy in the squad had MEC voices. At first I kept turing around ready to shoot, but he was a friendly. I had to keep my eye on his dot on the mini-map to keep track of him and his voice.
It might have something to do with autobalancing or teamswitching or something like that.
