      It's the distance. There are two aircraft per side that can cover the map in 12s. There are alot of ground vehicles, though, and if you slowly make your way to a CP, turn it neutral...WHAM! Any pilot worth his salt just wrecked your slow-a$$ ride (you wisely abandoned the vehicle as soon as you got there, so now you're turning your flag to your side while the pilot has to go reload and...WHAM! Any commander worth his salt just nuked you. Get another slow-a$$ ride, lather, rinse, repeat.

      Personally, I like dragon valley when I get tired of EF/AF/SF. Karkand is still my old standby, though.

      (edit: and "the distance" problem above doesn't even consider the maps (Songhua/Oman/etc.) where you have to take a five-minute "boat ride" to get to a CP. That's one of the reason I enjoyed SF so much--the lack of aircraft and the fast-moving ground/water vehicles. ATV/Jetski FTW!)
