yep you can back before 2142 they went for quite alot my friend sold his for 104 bucks and he sold his brothers for 96...I find it incredibly sad that people would buy a bf2 account but they do (or atleast they did).

It isnt illegal to do but EA claims it will wipe the account if it gets wind of it but this is avoidable. Simply advertise the account on ebay but dont give the a account name, and reveal it only to the eventual buyer passing all the info through email, works fine.

Thats it folks, i am officially BF2 retired, sold my BF2 games today & i cant really say i care. i have other, bigger things to get on with in life now so.

I'll still post here for the social side of things but for game play.....its over.

Meh..... sold it? Hope your finacial situation improves. For the tiny price that you sold a used copy of BF2 you had plenty more to do.

By your stats you haven't even scratched the surface of some of the much more complicated maps.

You could have returned to play only occasionally and done a lot more things.

I hate trying to discern anything from people's stats, but you put them out there as part of the post.

Unless you were getting pale and suffer from lack of Vitamin D due to lack of sunshine, which I'm distinctly getting that impression. Then good for you for dumping BF2 like a bad habit and getting on with other things that you think are important.

Eh, I will probably leave soon too. BF2...was a good game. I enjoyed the realistic modern-day vehicles and weapons. But, I'm afraid that...it just isn't fun anymore. There are morons tking for jets 'n crap more often in Aus, people glitch and hack to their hearts content. The game is no longer supported by its creator after only 1 year. I'm moving to 2142. Sure I don't like sci-fi crap. But it is everything BF2 could've/should've been. VERY SUPER (hehe bad grammar intended ) fast loading/verifying times, no tking for vehicles, new game modes. Active-camo. So long BF2! :salute: GG. :) :|: :cry:

It isn't bad if he spent most of his time as the pilot...or in the transport chopper.

I still like the game, lately I have been playing SF with some friends...keeps the game from getting stale. Its much better playing with a group of friends rather than solo.

I've been playing since August...flying since Oct...and only have 75 hrs in a chopper. Never got around to playing it when it came out, I was too addicted to CS:S and kept getting owned in BF2.

Getting bombed by SU-34s at respawn 10 times in a row, getting shot by choppers that have nothing better to do 10 times in a row, getting artilleried every minute, and ending some maps with 90% of my deaths caused by air units, and never getting shot by someone else with a gun, will eventually cause me to hang up my BF2 hat.

Hey tip for the OP. Go play some mods there are really good mods out there such as Operation Peacekeeper , Project Reality and I hope soon Forgotten Hope 2 (Can't wait when that one is out! )

Really the mods are worth it. I'm not even done with playing BF2 Vanilla and I'm just starting with SF! After that I'm going to play mods. Although I'm actually thinking I might be one of the last persons who is going to play this game :laugh:

You can buy a brand new copy on Ebay for $40. BF2142 sells for the same price as BF2, the demand is fairly low.
