Old player returning

Hi guys! Just wanted to know something.

I stopped playing at around patch release 1.3 because of various reasons.

Im download patch 1.41 now (which will take a few hours). Anyway, one of the reasons I stopped was because no one ever wanted to play as a team in a squad and a like.

I was just wondering if the community has changed a little, and people use VOIP commanders and squads more effectively? or are there any popular servers for this?

Yes we all do, we have VOIP set to the highest quality 5 and also run BR. People actually join squads and actually talk and play as a team. Even better is to join our TS server.

I think you will generally find better teamwork across most servers now than before.

Surely you left because of crappy 1.3 patch and server crashes rather than a lack of VOIP usage and lack of teamwork?

haha, it was kind of a mixture of both! (server crashes and lack of voip)

sounds exciting, cant wait to go at it again!

TS = Teamspeak.

Search for BodyBags UK for a great team server. It's the clan I'm in, and everyone joins a squad and plays as a team.

somethin is wrong with my voip, i join a squad talk in voip then when i stop talking the green thingy disapeers but when i press "B" to talk again the green thingy dosent come on , also when i tlak in squad talk "L" no one answeres me any help wold be apreciated.

It could actually be a server side problem. Or some players have VOIP disabled. Its best to try VOIP on a server that is known to work properly to eliminate a server side problem.

FullContactWar server uses VOIP/Squad and enforces is it. You will be warned to squad up but you can have your own squad (lone sniper). Always good, fairly even teams and teamwork. Still get the odd server or client crash/disconnect tho. But there are a few team oriented servers.

One thing I've noticed that helps improve teamplay is servers that don't swap sides every round. When that happens, all the squads are dismissed, and you have a harder time getting back together with the same group of guys.

I usually have better teamwork rounds on servers like this. And, when you find a great squad, I stay with them for 4+ rounds, enjoying it!

I dont mean to sell Project Reality (its a kick *** mod) with every post i make, but damn its so good i cant help it! Most people on there actually join squads to work as a team and VOIP is almost always used on every server I visit.

Well only the glitching has cut down a bit no big famous wall hack in karkand alothough there probly is many more that people use not to many people do teamwork unless your on a clan server and they are a good deccent clan.

totally second that

like 4 out of every 5 squads uses voip all the time and everyone always usually squads up.
