whenever i join a server, it says "cd key not valid" or something like that? what should i do?

My guess is, un-install bf2, then re-download it and enter the cd key again
If you gave it to someone else that might be the problem.

reinstalling is just one solution and its prob the simplest. if u have ur cd key at hand, u can try this:
start > run > "regedit" > ok
then navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Electronic Arts/EA GAMES/Battlefield 2/ergc and on the right hand side of the regedit window, u should see something named (Default)..double click on that and in the Value Data box, delete everything, then type ur cdkey in there. but b4 u hit ok, add x9392 in front of ur cd key with no spaces so it shoud look something like
"x9392DMGHAI321321JWS" wihtout the quotesComment
