Well its going on 2 years since BF2 was released..and they wstill cant
fix their bugs... 5 -6months between 'patches' .... patches that need their
own patches to fix the bugs they, themselves, make..

DICE are truly the retard rejects of the gaming programming community.

Ask anyone in the know, they'll tell you DICE are the worst in the biz.

Having written dozens of articles myself about EA and DICE, I can honestly
tell anyone who asks, that yes, DICE are the bottom level programmers.

Its pretty sad when a major gaming magazine states that BF2 should have
shipped with a notepad and supply of pencils, referring to BF2s inability to
provide the player even with the server Ip he is playing on half the time, and
their being no buddy list makes it the laughing stock of game authors world-
wide.

For those of you who think DICE is not EA, give it up. No matter what
percentage of ownership one has for the other, EA is the boss, they run
DICE. They always have, they always will.

Its a shame titles like Madden and Tiger Woods are so popular, because
without them, we could be rid of this pathetic publisher called Electronic
Arts, and hence, rid of its illegitimate step child DICE...leaving all our
favorite games written by quality companies who know how to do things
right and arent interested in scamming their customers.

Look for June's article in Gamespot re: EA/DICE and BF2142. It will be an
eye opener to those who dont now any better...

Do you enjoy yourself playing this game? I do... even with all the bugs. I personally don't feel like playing any other games, so they must have done something right.

Agreed. My biggest point I make about DICE/EA is their inability to somehow provide a working server search, and sort the results. This is Programming 101, we learn about how to read records, sort them by search criteria, order them if necessary, and output them to file or a video device. PHP and SQL in web design is much the same, also Web Programming 101. It boggles the mind.

Yeah totally dude, Dice really pisses me off for not putting a shake and bake option in my favourits list or a iTunes directory on the log in screen I mean Jesus, what were these people thinking.

Bournout 1 and 2, my favourite PS2 games. Guess who was the publisher for Burnout 3, which is basically a kiddie-game, with zip of the quality older titles had?! Yup, you guessed it, EA.

Play BF2 1.0, and then play BF2 what it is today. Yup, fvcked up, isnt it?

I used to be the guy who laughed at DICE/EA haters in the face. Today, I am the guy whos weeping because he has to play sh!tty games for a year or two, because there are NO OTHER BETTER games out there. And that is saying not a lot.

The problem with this community is that they depend on EA.

How so? If you know anything of Valve, the Half-Life franchise, with Counterstrike, etc. They provide all the development tools for individuals to add on or make modifications. There is no BFROE for CS or TFC thank god, since that restricts stuff as well "no custom maps, wtf".

So tell me, how does the community depend on EA, when EA doesn't allow anything?

Actually I think dice have made one of the best online shooters out there. If it's that bad how come this forum is so popular and bf2 still being played by thousands of people? Surely the developpers can't be that bad... let's see you delevop a game then. I think a few minor imperfections don't give us the right to insult the delevopers, only criticize constructively.

heres an idea.. Grab your bf2 disks smash them over your knee take your booklet with your cd key throw it in the fire along with the box the remaining of the cds and the booklet and thiers your new patch problems solved.
