Helicopter Hitboxes

sup guys, ive been playing bf2 for about a year now, off and on, and about 3 months ago me and my cousin started using the chopper alot. ive gotta say we've gotten pretty good in it, no noobs or anything, just gotta question about the hitboxes, im so sick of my missle going directly through the cabin of the chopper. happens to me about 70% of the time, so annoying. any information would be appreciated thanks.

This is what I would tell most people, to initailly improve TV hits...

Or at least it's good enough a tip to increase pracitice time on servers, to find out where the sweet spots are in different situations...

ahh thanks guys, ill remember that, also so if my missle hits behind the tail is there a chance that the chopper will still blow?

Hell yeah.... if you goto the media section there is a vid there that shows some serious TV lag lol

Edit : just dont aim 'infront' of the target. Either right on the target or a little behind.

thats wierd sloi. cause last night i did watch all your videos and they did give me some tips and my pilot and .SLP! were OWNINGGGGGG. people where getting mad and they were ranked wayyy above us...we are just gunnery sargents..hes about to be a master, or a first..something..but yeah your videos were awesome. good **** man keep it up.we wanna know more things like how to evade those damn linebackers etc. and im still having a lil trouble with the hit boxes its pissing me off :) but yeah still happens alot..they just fly directly through them!!!!

Just do what you usually do - aim for the hitbox, not the model. In BF2, this means aiming for the other side of the map. And NEVER shoot through the cabin, instead guide the missile so that you hit the chopper at a right angle (i.e. turn the tv to the side then point it at the side/tail of the chopper).

Well, rank doesn't mean a thing: it's just time spent playing.

As for linebackers? Take 'em down and keep track of their respawn times. Also, look around and fly defensively if you're having a difficult time with them.
