Drifting

Ever wanted to drift your jeeps in battlefield? Well now you can! I am at work on a new battlefield 2 mod (I'm continuing work on my skydiving mod, but it is postponed at the moment).

I've put up a quick video demonstration, just to show how some of it is coming along.

I am also in need of mapper(s) who can make race tracks and such.

It would work...if the buggies were dynamic.

Examples, Horsepower:weight ratio effects, suspension tightness, drafting...

Just wouldn't be realistic with the BF2 engine. Although it would a fun, easy mod that I was surprised wasn't in BR.

sweet, looking forward to this coz I love drifting, Ill try to find some cool maps then u can ask creators for permision or w\e

u can drift with the hover tank in 2142, if u have 2142 maybe u can do something..........know what I mean

Yes, they are also coming out with a hover jeep for 2142... However, i have lost my 2142 cd key and all hopes of me viewing the code are now lost *tear

Drifting was the best thing to happen to G4. Bought N4S:U2 just for the drifting. :-P
Almost bought a 240 and a 300 cause my Pontiac is FWD.

It's tricky, cuz I'm playing with the gravity modifier and stuff.... sometimes the car won't move at all... sometimes it moves too fast and no time to drift well.... so any advice is appreciated aswell.

Even though I don't like cars... I support you on this too! But I like the skydiving mod better. :p

I got the USMC buggy to drift on Kubra Dam for a few seconds, that was a cool expierence going around some of those tight corners .

i was actually thinking of making (or waiting for) a mod where it was racing and ud have to keep in mind of drifitng becuz in bf2, if u drive over grass, its hard to make sharp turns without drifting alot

and im right now i play mostly need for speed: most wanted..so ill be looking forward to his
