i cant seem to decide mg36 or pkm...mg36 or pkm?

-they both have the same accuracy

-mg36 fires faster

-BUT pkm has more stopping power

i have them both already i just cant seem to decide on which to use more often.

I haven't unlock the MG yet, but the PKM has been the love of my life! The only plus from the MG I can think of would be the burst mode, but personally I only shoot one bullet at a time anyhow, so fireing speed doesn't matter a whole lot. How do you play support? Do you go mid-long range or are you in people's faces? And how do you shoot? In bursts or bullet by bullet or spray and pray?

In that case, it depends on the Map, your playing style, and your Army. I would choose the MEC and Chinese Support guns over any unlock. I'm not too friendly to the SAW, and I'll use the PKM if I want to, depending on the situation or map.

BTW, it's all about you. Not our opinion.

Do you like burst or full auto more? That pretty much should answer your question. I used to only use the PKM, but then I started using the MG 36, and now I generally use base weapons...unless I am on China...I cannot stand that gun for some reason.

Depends. If you are on MEC, use the RPK all the way. If you are USMC, go with the PKM unless you are really up close and personal with the enemy, then I suggest the MG36. Those are my preferences.

well thanks for the input you guys but...thiese comments dont answer my questions you mostly say based on playstyle...what attributes of my play style would make me go mg36>pkm or pkm<mg36.

btw i hate all stock supports except SAW its ok.

umm the saw is just a type 95 with bigger ammo capacity.

seriously the pkm and mg36 is are both bologne garbage, if you will. Im not demanding you use it, experiment with them, eventually you'll learn to use base weapons like all experienced support players do. In extremely close ranges, the m249 and type 95 kill quicker (if all bullets hit) than the pkm. the rpk is a medic killer. 600 RPM and 3 bullets to kill.

i really think the type 95 is underrated too. It just sounds crap and might look crap at first, but now i love that thing.

i think the only reason people had certain base support weapons is because they probably have a bad experience with them at first, so they give up on them.

If you were ever a dedicated member of the Far Cry community, you'll have a personal disposition to the SAW(either that or absolutely loved the damned thing). Almost emotionally damaging. I hate the SAW model, I hate the way it sounds. The Type 95, to me, sounds bigger, and deff. looks more compact. They may be the same statistically, but I always find that the Chinese weapons work better against USMC than vise versa. But again, this is my opinion.
