Here's one I don't understand.. I'm getting a good FPS until the game actually starts... all during the "Waiting for X players...", my FPS is fine.. anywhere from 50 - 100. When the game starts, BOOM! It drops down to 15 -25. Any ideas?

Too much players. It happens to everyone, more or less. I don't know what kind of effect RAM has on it, but it may be lack of it. It could probably be too slow connection too compared to amount of players, but usually that gives high pings too. BF2 is somewhat processor intensive game and if you have a slow processor it most likely is the reason. -

No, that's not it. We only had 6 players when this happened. I have two GB of RAM and a Pentium 4 dual core CPU. My internet connection is fantastic. This just recently started.Comment
