Hello everyone, I was looking at the sig of one of the BFROE members, and I looked at the most recently caught hacker. Here are his stats now :http://bf2s.com/player/82476204/ as you can see, when deprived of his uber leet haxx, he is a terrible player. He must think that since the SVD is the best weapon for a hacker to use, it is the best for him to keep using, and getting easy kills. But, the only problem is, he sucks with it. Pathetic idiots that use hacks...probably thought he was the ****, now look at him.

I don't know what you really mean, and I ain't no expert in hacking, either nor I know about noobs (or otherwise sucky) playing with hacks, but I do know what happens when extremely good people cheat. Not necessarily in BF2, but in many other games there are.

Now let's assume one is playing a fast FPS, probably Quake or something. You've never played with cheats and now you suddenly turn wallhack on. You were doing great before that, but after you're absolutely lost. On a computer screen, there can be only certain amount of information and in an extremely intensive game there's too much even without hacks which give you even more info. Suddenly you see and know everything, on the very same moment you stop thinking and that's where everything goes wrong. No more crazy shots or total owning, just plain point blank shooting. No more sneaky tactics nothing, you just run and gun. you play dumb and you die fast. (Just like a bot, hah!)

On the other hand a good player can learn a lot with cheats. I have some experience with tags in BF2 (no, no cheating, just practice on our own), and I still can see the tags, even if they're not there you can imagine them. People don't change and as soon as you learn the timing and routes with tags you don't forget them and they still work every single time. I learnt a lot I can say, but honestly, I don't think they'd make you any better player. At least with clan, where teamspeak and commander provide you with all necessary info already.

Long story... How a cheater does after his cheats are taken away? Good player = no difference, depending on game and cheat of course. Bad player = Sucks once, sucks always. (Don't really know)

Another story... I know one player personally who is one of the top5 in his game in the world. Now what I know, he could never use simple cheats like wallhack, because it'd completely destroy his tactics or at least it would take moths, even year to achieve the same level again. All tactics and things are based on estimating where the enemy is and what he does and so on. Wallhack would ruin it all. For him I don't believe there'd be anything to learn from wallhack, because everything is practiced already and routes and timings are checked from demos and with clanmates. Game also has spectator, which is great help on learning people's minds and their ways of thinking while they play. You can just sit and try to think what he's thinking. That's even better than wh in learning a game.

Ummm, aimbot+SVD=godlike player, regardless of any skill or anything else. I think you have the wrong idea about it. And no good player would use hacks, so your good player without his hacks= good player argument is dead wrong.

Yet they always claim they were the best players, and can own the rest of us, and simply had got bored with the game, and needed another avenue for excitement...

I have a friend who is the biggest cheater... because simply he sucks. When he plays an FPS game, he'd run into the next room, draw all the monsters, die, then come back because he knew where they were. Once he figured out how to put cheat codes in games, he'd play the game on God mode.. How boring is that.

In a well-known MMORPG with 7 million subscribers, he'd be the one buying gold so he could buy the latest gear off the Auction House. He had many ways of rationalizing his 'cheats' and there was no point even arguing with him about it.

He doesn't cheat at BF2 though, but if given the ability he would. He'd be the first to use macros, scripts or cheats if he could get away with them, in a bid to 'level the playing field' as he says.

I have pulled a lot of moves in the Age series, and in the Jet in this game that make me ask myself, do you cheat dude? After a while you just know where everyone and everything is... without ever seeing them.
