What are these??

I just installed SF and started playing and started to notice these

they only show up at certain angles..??
artifacts? my computer wasnt even hot...

anyone?

Dump your video cache. Make sure your video card drivers are up to date and then let the game reoptimize your video when you play next. It could be your vid card is overheating too.

Sometimes I have that too. I always have it on Dalian. Lots of other people have it too.. It's just a game problem.

Just try and fire up Dalian one time and get the Chinese Chopper and check the windows of some buildings they will have the same effect.

It also isn't a overheating issue. Since it's pretty cold out here and my temps are always low :)

I always clear it trough (Manually..) by:

Going to this folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\Username\My Documents\Battlefield 2\mods

From there:
You will see the folder called 'bf2' and a folder called 'xpack' Where BF2 is Battlefield 2 Vanilla and xpack is Battlefield 2: Special Forces. I would suggest dumping both.

(Just clear the files in that folder usually called 7907324-SH89H89453-SH89Y345 or something in that direction..)

That's what I do. Also you could have used the search function (Enter keywords such as clearing shaders etc.)
