Spiking Ping + Load Page loads

Well its happening to me even more than before, Ill be playing and then my ping will spike to about 199 - 1000 for about a minute then be fine and then happen again in the round for a short amount of time. My Pages are really loading slowly and sometimes timing out.

aSUS M2n-e
7600gt
Mushkin em2 5300
160 sata2 Seagate

It happens in bf2 , 2142 , Desert Combat and the net


Im thinking updating the ethernet drivers but i cant find the right one or dont wanna install the wrong one

any help or directions to the right one would be good

Has it been lagging before? This is happening to me right now, I tried everything and nothing really worked. I called my ISP and the guy reset my connection, and since then the lag is not nearly as bad. I couldn't even play BF2 but now it works great most of the time.

Are you wireless?

If you remove your drivers for ethernet and refresh, the machine should reload the drivers automatically and that may fix any corruption driver issue (if thats what it is).
