Im sick of seeing updates about a mod that never seems to be coming out and sick of the fact if you ask a question about when its coming out you get flamed... F that mod i aint playin it and i loved the original DC and bought BF2 just in the hopes of playing DC for BF2...

Yeah i get they are volenteers and useing there free time yada yada yada. What ever.... im just sick of waiting and shall wait no more..... Adios fond dreams of DC.....Adios...

People really have no comprehension of how much work, and time must go into creating a playable mod.

The dev team is creating a mod on their free time. Time which could be spent with friends or family. Instead they are usually annoyed by whining brats with little patience.

Patience is a virtue.

If you really want a mod, play Project Reality, or POE 2. They should fulfill you mod needs until if/when/whatever DC comes out.

I played the original POE and enjoyed it... I’ve played a few different ones but guess I just reminisce about the old days of DC...


And I totally give it up to the people that give up their time to create a mod and by no way could I do any better. It’s just been all the hype about it an update after update with no playable release beyond CTF. (BTW have you seen how many mods have already been released for this friggin game?) And if you ever ask a friggin question related to a release date you get flamed to know end as if you should show some holy reverence to some friggin game Modder and how dare you question the sanctity of this mod that hardly anyone has played(figuratively I mean. I’m sure hundreds have played it but in a community of 10s of thousands it’s a small number)....yadda yadda yadda... I’m just saying I’m done with it and I wish them well... I had looked forward to it.



And I’m not whining man I’m saying I’ve given up on that one so you can F off and take your tiny E penis else were if you don’t like my comment.... wait I knew I’d get flamed so I guess I expected that..... so never mind and flame away my cyber friend….

for a mod like theres when its all going to be released when its all done, you really cant put up a release date till you are close and then you can decide.

We are PR know when about we are aiming for 0.5 but we aint doing a public speak about the date cos if a major bug comes up where we need to delay the release, every one will get pissed off even more than if you dont give them a date.

I cant say any thing about the flaming, i dont know what you are on about but i dont check there update posts much. But is it flaming from the Devs or the public? If its the devs then i dunno they are prboaly just annoyed from hearing it so much but if its the public then the devs cant really help that. Personly when somone asks me when we are going to release our next version I normaly say something like "when egg stops drinking" or something along thous lines :p

For the updates thou they are there for your benfit and to really encourage you to download the mod when its out. it all takes time and a small dribble of updates is fine IMO.

All i can say is just relax. When they have a good idea about a release date they will say. Modding for BF2 takes a hell of alot of work and time.
