What controllers do you use (or have used)??

So.... just like the title says, what is your control set-up of choice?? Keyboard, joystick, trackball, VR goggles..... etc. etc.. Anybody using those funky game-specific keyboards, or even PS2 style controllers?

I have been using the Nostramo Speedpad n50 for a few years now, and I just ordered Belkin's new n52 (see pic at bottom). This I use in combination with a Logitech gaming mouse for BF2 and all other FPS games.

Anyway, how do you connect your body to the game?

just use the usual NORMAL keyboard and mouse for infantry/vehical/jet/heli/surfing/typing....everything

im gonan find them and **** them with a ***ing *** after i -*** the **ing **** with a ****ing extension cord with ****peanut butter in the ***.

AHHHAHAHAHHA thats the weirdest thing ive ever seen!!!!!! wireless keyboard and mouse are just fine for me...not your...whatever the hell your object of choice is.

Ok, let's try a serious response, shall we.

I use a Z-Board MERC game pad and a trackball.

I would use the Z-Board keyboard, but I bought the game pad first. I don't know if it is the best, but it works for me. The trackball gives me smother motion looking side-to-side and two-button for firing. The game pad seems to help me select the proper keys better without looking. Z-Board has a nice, third party software that sets up your game pad for you and it is still customizable.

:laugh: :laugh: Too funny!!! Yeah, it looks like some strange device from "A Clockwork Orange" or something..... but seriously, I bought it on a lark a few years ago, (the original version which has only 2 rows of keys).

It's made by Belkin, who make all sorts of computer and iPod stuff (www.belkin.com).

The main thing I like about it is the thumb controlled "D-pad" that I use for movement, while the keys are programmed for crouch, prone, reload, knife, etc. etc.. I find the advantage is that while I'm using my thumb to move about, (and mouse on right hand for free-look), I can still use my left hand fingers to operate the keys for weapon change, re-load, sprint, etc..

I tried a lot of different things but I wound up going back to useing my keyboard and mouse. I guess Im to old to learn any new tricks.
That n52 does look pretty cool though. . . . . . . . .Red

I use Kb+M. Those n52's can be a more comfortable option I bet though, and seeing how I have a 12 hour BF2 day planned tomorow (YEAH!!) (I play at a net cafe, do not get much time to play :)) I kind of wish I had one.

A light up mouse () manufactured by "Swann".
CH Products FlightSim Yoke.
CH Products Fighterstick USB Joystick.
CH Products Flightsim Pro Rudder Pedals.
