Retrieve account Password

I have just done a fresh re-install of BF2 but for the life of me I cant remember my account password, what can I do?

I know my player ID & I can use my player name on a friends computer as I retrieved it a while ago on his computer but the password bit is ***** out.

Does BF2 store player logon info in a folder somewhere? then I could just copy it to mine.

not sure if bf2 stores the login info, but wat u can do is

go to http://www.gamespy.com

on the left hand navigation part, scroll down until u see login and click on that

then click on "I forgot my password" and u will need the email address that u used to register ur account for bf2

I had a look on Gamespy but I can only find the "ive lost my key" link where should i look on the website?

Do you have the password written in ***s anywhere? If so, you can go to your friend's PC, and copy the profile folder for that thing (just do a search for your username in the My Documents\BF2 folder ticking the "search INSIDE files" box).

Forgot member name and password. They are attached to the email you used when you created the account. That is your primary EA account. From that you can retrieve your player login and password from either the game or gamespy.
