Some Project Reality questions

1- If I get 0.4, when 0.5 comes out, do I have to uninstall 0.4 or no?

2- Can I get some pics of the MEC and Insurgents Weapons Menu screen?

3- Can I also see some pics of the USA Weapons Menu Screen?

and 4- What's the whole ranking system in Project Reality?

I really suggests you start playing more of Project Reality before you even thinking about making a movie using the mod.

1. 0.5 will be a full install.

2. the loading screen doesn't show all the weapons, infact it shows very few. We have a limmited kit request system and for the insurgants pickup kits for alot of the weapons. This way we dont get 1/3 of teams playing with the sniper kit etc.

3. same as above, also dont forget the brits are also in 0.4

4. its ABR, more of a stat tracker for servers that want to use it.

and like katie said, you should really play some PR before you work out a movie for it....

When 0.5 comes out, i will check it out for myself. I just don't want to get 0.4 and have to uninstall it and get and install 0.5.
WHat's the request system? is that where you have to find weapons around the maps or do you get them by ranking up or what?

To request a limited kit, you must be in a squad, and near a friendly CP or APC.

If all of the limited kits have not already been issued, you can request it by pressing 'T' and selecting the kit you wish to request. It will then appear at your feet and you can press 'Q' to pick it up.

yeah i read that. I should of posted that I understand it now.
sure, I am going to download 0.4 today. You guys said it would be a few weeks until 0.5 comes out.
EDIT: Not getting it, until the new version comes out, so I can get the one.

Get 0.406 by all means. You need to see the progression of builds towards 1.0 to understand the radical changes that are now taking place.

You have till the end of the month (approximately) to get used to the game physics (which may or may not be tweaked) and get the feel for the mod, before major changes to spawning system and flag captures are introduced.

I'm not in a hurry to do a vidoe right when 0.5 comes out. Filming and Editing take a while to do. when I get 0.5 I will get a feel for the game and then start to do some filming.

I'm looking forward to 0.5 ... I get my butt handed to me in 0.4, but I like it! It makes me think and change my gameplay tactics. Awesome!

(They use ABR - alternative battlefeild ranking , gives you ranks but its not your global stats .)
