The reason why you haven't seen a thread about W/L ratio is that people with a high ratio often are considered WTJ (winning team joiner).

Even if you are totally pro and own on the server, your team can lose anyway because of the other idiots on your team who prefer to stay at one spot killing eachother, and NEVER cap flags.

Um, I have never switched sides to be on a winning team, and I pub all the time, with no friends or anything, and my W/L ratio is "decent"

When I get with my =BFS= buds, we pretty much rock the other teams world however.

Ok, this may sound a bit excuse but if you play where ever with whom ever like I do, then it should be close to 1, otherwise you manipulate your figures in a way or another. W/L ratio is totally independent of single player (in most cases)

Mine is 1,1 :p (it's over 1, so shut up)

i totally agree with you ace. Theres no way one person can change the tide of battle in big pub servers.

mine is 1.33

I don't look at mine, because it doesn't prove a thing. I'm constantly on the retard team, and many times I'm the only one doing caps, defends or any action at all.

So many times I have 'lost' a map, but it wasn't due to any lack of effort on my part.

One person can definetly swing the tide of a battle, at least in my expierience. I was on Wake the other day, started on US. We were owning the crap out of them, and they only had south base and beach left....when me and one other person got switched (people bailing on the server) We started out down by 75 or so tickets, and came back and won it quite easily....

Proof positive you know nothing about me.

I join the losing team because I like the challenge. My point was that win/loss ratio has nothing to do with a player skill, but rather what team they happened to be on.

Then you bragged about how you join the losing team and turn it around, as if you were trying to nullify my valid, and experienced, post on the matter. Did I say it never turns around? DUH! Quit making out as though you are such a good player, and everyone else is ****.
