1.41 Full Patch Problem

I recently installed Battlefield 2 and 2142. I patched/updated both of them with the latest update, 1.41 Patch for BF2 and 1.10 Update for BF2142. I didn't get any errors when I patched/updated them. They both were a success. My problem is when I load BF2, it doesn't say its 1.41. It's still the same version when I first installed it. It even tells me in a pop up that 1.41 is out. BF2142 Update worked, it says 1.10. Why didn't the 1.41 Full Patch work? I checked the BF2 README and it says "Battlefield 2™: V1.41". I don't understand what's going on.

Welcome to the forums. The ID number you see on your BF2 console does not relate to the version number of the game you have installed. Look for servers. See more than 100? You're good.
