Name change?

Can you change your BF2 character's name?

I tried these commands:

localProfile.setNick

localProfile.setName


I've also tried changing my password but it didn't work... I used this command:

localProfile.setPassword



Do I need to be on a ranked server to change these settings? Am I getting the syntax wrong?

You can't change your name. You can make a new account though, with a new name. You'll have to start from Private again.

Singleplayer or LAN Co-op (unranked offline usage)

You can only change your prefix

So what if you took a ' . ' as name lol. or some weird sign. Almost impossible to get kicked then? And just set your name as prefix so like

(Name so your prefix) (Unique nick something like '´')

I'm going to try that.. Although it would be pretty lame you could change your name to whatever you want, lol.

Yeah if u rly don't like ur name just make a new account, or add the prefix
