Filtering out Infantry Only Servers: Can it be done??

Hi Forum.

This is my first post, and it is a very difficult question:

How can I filter OUT Infantry Only servers from my list??

The game lets you filter out NON-Inf only servers, but there is no "Only Vehicles" server filter.

Are there any arguments or commands that can be placed in the server browser that make it so Infantry only servers do not display?

Thanks, Im sure there are a ton of other ppl who this could benefit, as well.

I dont think there is a way to do that in-game.

you can do that quite easily using Qtracker with custom filters. www.qtracker.com

There is an IO filter, but I also had to make one to filter out IO's.

i wish you could do that because on karkand i find less nade spams when vehicle are in the mix.
and its SOOOO fun flashbanging an apc and telling a guy from ur squad to c4 the thing, watching them run when they r blind is awsome

but seriously i really wish u could do that but im afraid that if EA patches it...well....you all remember 1.3.

ive said this b4 but i almost gave up on bf2 cas of 1.3 i bought game when 1.3 was reiging terror thought it was my comp and almost trashed game but 1.4 saved me.

They should have made it a filter option, similar to how they made no vehicles a filter option. I have wanted that filter since 1.41;because, I hate joining a server then oh wait no cars. AAwwww... F!

Mate you can't do that and it's such a ****ing anoying bollocks! You CAN tick the box to search for IO servers but you can't tic one to NOT searh for ones? Fking ********. It's useless same as EA, you don't even need the IO only search option because there are a million IO servers on the normal search!

I put the servers in name order then skip the 24/7 servers if you dont want them

Don't think there is even if you have that IO setting off it still shows IO servers

I havent really tried in a while since I had most of my favorites for a while now, It would be interesting to see if EA could introduce such a filter without causing a slew of other crashes

Hmm, Still no dice eh? I was hoping something would be done about this, but I guess all resources are now allocated towards the ****fest that is 2142 ?

Nah... The server browser sucks and always has. It probably always will. I think EA hired executive's kids for the summer to write the code for it. It was a "cushy" job.

I'd prefer like how you create a lan server... have filter options as 0 or 1 like the server options for lan... pretty good idea imo.. give me cookies!!!

Noodle around with Qtracker and you'll never open BF2 or any mod for that matter ever again.

I suggest we stop bothering EA about their browser and let them concentrate on things others can't fix. Besides they'd never make it as good as Qtracker anyway.
