I don't think so. I've been shot this way by people with low pings. For anyone who has played with a high ping it is pretty obvious that this is not the cause - you have to adjust for high ping by leading.
I think the movie linked to by -=[R]=-SilentNite is the best explanation. Your hitbox is actually trailing you.
Re: do u die from guns after runing clear around a corner?
Yeah, this happens to me all the time. I'll be proned shooting, then see a bunch of guys rushing me so I stand up, drop a nade and make it behind the corner, only to be shot. I found that it's better just to hold your ground and kill 1 or 2 before the inevitable death.
Re: do u die from guns after runing clear around a corner?
yes but like we are all sayn my ping might be 20-30 but others maybe 100-200 thus making them hard to hit and your hit box lag as i agree with that
but the servers i go too(not many choices in australia) can have 300 ping guys and no one kicks em ,i mean the other day there was a guy who had 380-400 and i said kick a miliion times but no one did.but then i try play a usa server and get kicked in 2 min lol
Re: do u die from guns after runing clear around a corner?
That's one thing that bothers me about this game. It's so damn hard to actually hit a target strafing side to side because of this. DICE could learn a thing or two from Counter-Strike as its hit boxes are dead on.

remove players from the server with pings above 100ms then it wont happen anymore.
You have that the wrong way around, unless ur trying to reduce overall server lagg?
Obviously the guy whos started this thread has a higher ping then his opponents therefore he needs to find a better server for himself or upgrade his internet service.
To a player with a low ping - you havent ran fully around that corner - your still in view on his screen - hence why ur dieing - your the one with a delay. Sometimes though you cant help it - theres always someone with a lower ping.
A 1mb connection with a 40:1 contention ratio is fine for BF2 - its your upload speed that matters! Just kill him before you run around the corner! :)
Re: do u die from guns after runing clear around a corner?
this is what i think:
a combination of your ping and overall ping of the server, or lag, determines whether or not you will die when it looks like you shouldnt have. Your running and getting shot at, and then you die (lets say the shooter puts as much bullets as it takes to kill you) then you run around the corner and fall to the ground. It seems like he shot through the wall, but the game registered your death before that. Ping determines how many milliseconds you are behind the server. If you've been playing this game on the internet for a long time, youll notice that when you playing singleplayer (0 ping) the enemies seem to die instantly after you take off all their health. It seems much smoother.
Heres another example with a related issue. Say im shooting at someone with a g36e, 40 ping, i spend 3 bursts (9 bullets) and they all seem to hit but i get killed first. So i get revived, and my bullet count is 21, and quickly it changes to 27, because my computer didnt register my death until a bit later. This is just an example of what ping can do. So sometimes you'll see yourself living when your really not. Im pretty sure others see the same thing.

You're being serious, aren't you? The person with the higher ping who still has you on their screen because of THEIR slow-*** connection is at fault. The person with the lower ping who has already rounded the corner is not delaying at all. Honestly, go hit some meth and drive around.
