Just finished my new system:
ASUS A8R32-MVP Delux
2.40 gigahertz AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core
NVIDIA GeForce 7950 GT (512)
2048 Megabytes Installed Memory
1024 kilobyte secondary memory cache
Windows XP Media Center Edition..

Did fresh install of BF2 and then
FULL BF2_Patch_1.41
TotalBF2_Map_Pack_1
TotalBF2_Map_Pack_2
TotalBF2_Map_Pack_3

What patches and mods do I need and what order do they
need to be installed?

When I load BF2 and start the single player, it shows
the newly instaled maps on the left, but the pictures of the
maps do noot appear, just black on the right. The new maps
appear to load, but then when session starts, the game shuts
down and goes back windows.

Please help....Thanks in advance.

the last thing you install should be the 1.41 update. That will hopefully fix this, but I'm not sure. If there were map pack issues, you'll be able to search the threads for other instances of it.
