BF2 lagging like crazy.

It used to go like 60 fps but now it's going like 10-1 fps, I don't know why this is happening, I'm also getting an unually high ping.

Yes, I did everything you said, How do I fix this?

yeah wat are ur specs. try turning off voip and updating pb for ur ping problems

There's been a recent pb update. As usual it doesn't auto update as it should. Download pbsetup.exe from www.evenbalance.com to manually update pb.

Reinstall Nvidia video drivers.

Clear your game video cache and let the game re-optimize.

What are your game settings at? Medium?

I'm using the ones that came with Vista, NVIDIA's Vista (beta) Drivers are known to suck.

I cleared the cache and re-optimized the game twice already.

I'm running the game at High, Use to run fine on these settings.

When i play offline I have to lag, however when I play online it gets choopy. Could this be caused from an out of date PB and/or my wireless internet connection. I play CSS/FEAR/RVS on the same PC with no lag issues.

Su, I think the drivers are going to be your issue. You may have to go to medium for a bit. Nice thing about medium though is that you will load into map and game faster.

3D, yes it's most likely your wireless. BF2 has a lot more throughput requirements than CSS. No idea on Fear or RVS.

Get the new Vista nVidia drivers, simple. They solve quite a few problems.

Yes, but I can't say it's for all games because I've only tried BF2. Works faster than in XP Pro.

When will Zonealarm come to Vista?
