900+ hrs I guess I have been pretty lucky up until now. I could count on 1 hand the times I have CTD'ed in previous patches. 1.41 I CTD like crazy. Sometimes 3 times in a round, I may get 2 rounds in if I'm very lucky.
1st I tried re-installing, no change. Then I bit the bullet and reformatted. deleted the partition, did a full format, latest drivers, XP pro fully updated. Installed the patch it failed 5 times. Only way I could get it to patch was to copy my profile back. Load it up 5 minutes in CTD. Load again within 5 minutes CTD. 1 more time again within 5 minutes CTD.
My PC is not oc'ed either to make sure. Before my oc was no worries with any other patch. So before format and reinstall I set it back to stock. Everything I have done hasn't made any difference.
Am I the only unlucky bastard CTD'ing in 1.41, I doubt it?
