A Question about Patching

I was wounding,
Can I install Special Forces and patch it with the 1.41 (Full) patch, when I already have my BF2 installed on it? or will Special Forces just work when I install it?

If you have BF2 already patched to 1.41, installing SF will result in patching the game to a previous version 1.12 i think, so you would have to patch 1.41 again after you install SF
