    Freefall

I'm also working on this, but is there ANY way I can almost make skydiving a vehicle in a way.... idk how else I could get it to work, so that you can do flips and such, anybody have any advice?

Why... I think I have an idea! OK... you start off in the Hercules cargo bay... there is a line of sky-diving suits on the wall (The vehicle) that you press "E" to enter, and once in it is like driving an FAV. You move up to the ramp, and just walk/"drive" off. Once in the air the vehicle has heli/jet like dynamics allowing you to do flips and stuff. The vehicles "weapons" would be stuff like, an altimeter gauge (which is strapped to the arm IRL) an O2 gauge (next to the altimeter) smoke and a parachute which will stop the "vehicle" from falling at terminal velocity.

W key: Arms/legs back, speed increases and rate of descent goes faster.
S key: Arms/legs spread out, speed decreases, rate of descent slows.
    A key: Turn left.
    D key: Turn right.
    Mouse: Controls bank and pitch.

The so called "vehicle" would have the same amount of armor/hit points as normal infantry. Think about it and tell me what you think.

Sounds good... I could use some of the parachute code with it aswell, only one problem. Would it LITERALLY pack a parachute, or would you need to "exit" the pack in order to use the parachute? OR it could be a weapon in itself, which is my best idea so far. You could HOLD a ripcord, and that would be how the parachute is released/packed/maintains ammo. As for the vehicle part and doing tricks, I'll see what more ideas I can come up with, but the vehicle idea you have seems like it could work.

Yes I was worried about that... I don't think its possible to pack a parachute IN a vehicle. So you simply bail out and press 9 when you near the ground. The ripcord is another good idea though but it seems a little hard to code... Then again I've never coded anything.

Would probably just as hard to code that as modeling a whole new vehicle and coding that... But that is a necessity... I'm just trying to get a way for the vehicle to give you a ripcord, so that when you pull it, your parachute releases, and you don't have to physically LEAVE the vehicle. Idk, any other thoughts on this?

Search the BFEditor.org forum. Some of this has been discussed/explored before.

I don't know stalker... Probably on first release of the mod just leave it so that you have to actually exit the vehicle before you can parachute... And as FFOLKES said read through BFEditor.org so you could code the parachute into later releases. By the way, great work on the Special Forces unlock mod for vanilla BF2 FFOLKES.

I haven'te modelled in a while, so my friend is going to help me, but is anybody else (I'll also check bfeditor) willing to model and (hopefully) skin it. I only have photoshop so I can't see exactly which part I'm skinning, unless anybody can provide me with another program.... the only skinning I've ever done is on existing skins.
