i've patched bf2 and it's not running now,please help

i installed bf2 1.4 patch then i start the game and after a few seconds it returned to desktop.There wasn't any error message.Please help me

try a full reinstall and make sure u downloaded the full 1.41 patch and not just 1.4

delete the cache located here..C:\Documents and Settings\your name\My Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\cache

This should be deleted everytime u update the game to prevent errors.

System Specs would be good also

If you dont know them,

Start > Run > type " dxdiag " in the box and press Enter,

look for the information on your CPU & Memory from the System tab, and your graphics from the Display tab

i tried this solution but it's not still working.it's returning to desktop again

did you rename the .exe? If you did you should change it back to BF2.exe
