Bunny hopping although not working as intended, is still a part of the game.

It can't be considered exploiting, since this is something that everybody can do.

I personally laugh IRL whenever somebody comments on my bunny hopping. Although I rarely do it, I have no qualms in using it to escape an ambush, or to avoid splash damage from an APC or Tank's weapons.

Wow, this is insane! Are you guys for real? You do understand that its not dolphin diving or prone macros youre talking about, youre talking about genuine, casual jumping! Sure they are harder to hit, than a guy walking/running, but why does a guy have to make himself an easier target for you? He doesnt! And BH isnt exploiting!

HKS, youre always so defensive when it comes to your clan guys, especially the chopper crew. Wouldnt a roll, in a chopper, a cheap trick? A gay trick? A stupid trick?

There is no ruling in the ROE that deals with bunny hopping while we all might find it retarded it's perfectly legal...

Chris I think you misunderstood me. I personally think that bunnyhopping is a weak, noob way to play the game. I won't go as far as saying its exploiting however people only bunnyhop because they know the crappy BF2 netcode and hit reg and lagging hitboxes is to their advantage when they constantly jump around the map like a retard. Its just not my type of playing style.

I just merely saw the irony in the OP's post and thought it was funny.

Heli wise, I was one of the 1st guys out there to use the barrell role as an evasion technique for TV's. However these days with the crappy missiles go through heli's its probably more effective to just point your heli straight at the other heli so the missile passes straight through.

I welcome people's complaints though, since I only know that they're doing it so that they can feel better about themselves after I've killed them for the fifth time in a row. Let them ventilate, it only means that they'll never learn; and they'll only continue to be nothing more than cannon fodder as a ground pounder.

There are many things that contribute to a person's success in this game; and bunny hopping is only marginally helpful in some situations. More often than not it's a hinderance since it slows you down by draining your endurance in large spurts. It's only by knowing when to bunny hop, that it suddenly becomes a powerful tool.

Of course, why would people who complain about it, ever bother to know this? They're too high and mighty to ever administer such 'cheap tricks', even though they'd gladly lower themselves to bitching and moaning in chat.
