    8800GTX question

    Just a quick question, does the Asus 8800 GTX support windows xp 64 bit edition? if it does, which will run better: normal windows xp or xp 64 bit? I got the card and on the box it didn't say it supports xp 64 bit and i heared someone say that it doesn't support it.

      Might want to ask in the support section.

      As it is a brand spanking new card, I would say 64 bit version would be best. But, with a card that smoking hot, I do not think it matters.

          As far as I know...it does support XP. But with DX9, to use DX10, you NEED Vista. Both Vista and XP 64 are not fully compatible with much though, wait for the full release of Vista and more patches for 64. But for DX10, you need Vista.
