Anyone seen this? I get into the map, pick my spot, start to move then BAM! I get a puase for like 3-4 sec's then I am good to go. Not a realy big issue just gets annoying. Only on first entry into the game. Doesnt seem to happen when map refreshes that I can recall.

I've been experiencing that as well recently. Not sure why or what is causing it.
It only started when I switch to Windows Media Edition 2003, so maybe it has something to do with that. But like you I just live with it since it's just 4 seconds or so. -

Defrag,
Dump video cache,
Check for current driver for Nvidia card.Comment

yeah I get it, not so long, 1 to 1.5 seconds lag, Ive always put it down to the flood of positional data suddenly being dumped into ram as soon as I move or turn around.Comment

Mine does this, but it does it prior to my selecting a kit or a spawn location.Comment

I get it, but before the spawn screen, all the chat shows up and all the radio commands, I think it's what Mad Ad said, except it happens before spawning.Comment

Exactly, Kind of a synchronization of the com files that have happened since you joined the game to where you finally were in game.Comment
