Tired of the baseraping as MEC on Karkand?

Well there's no way to stop it. Unless you have a well co-ordinated team to push those Yankees back to the uncap. You CAN however get payback! What you'll need:

You have to be MEC.
A T-90 tank.
You have to be either, Engi or Support.
You MAY need to have a friend who can go the opposite to what you picked (Engi/Support)
The Hotel CP.

Note: Works best at the start of the game.

Done? Good. Now drive up to the suburb. Turn to face the direction of the US uncap. Drive down to the small house by the mountain and drive inside the wall. Eliminate any HMMW/APC coming to cap suburb. Now navigate around the house and down the small incline and, again, turn to face the US uncap. You should now be paralell to Hotel. Drive forward UP the mountain range til you are located on the edge of the map boundaries. Camp away as the US tries to cap Hotel/Sneak by and get Square! :p No one expects to look up a hill to see a T-90 so use this element of "surprise" to your advantage.

Mec dont have an uncap on Karkand 64player, so baserapping doesnt apply, usmc on the other hand do, but stating which size maps to use it on is good also

Another simple solution, there are more servers then just 24/7 karkand.

my favorite thing to do when they do that is to jihad. you'll get responses like "OMG NOOB JIHAD" and the sort. then you can respond with something along the lines of "hey douchebag, you were spawncamping". usually they stop, but if they dont, just go back for more.

Yes I know that. But (hopefully) if they read this tip the people that DO play 24/7 Kark as US will get p***** off when they get camped from the hills and quit. Then maybe we can play Fushe more often or Mashtuur. :p

Ok, its been a long day at work but I am a bit confused about what you are trying to say here. Sure, it sounds like a fun idea but arent you yourself just spawn camping as MEC but with a tank? I must admit it is different than the standard tactic of noobs just throwing themselves at each other in the alleys and yards south of the hotel or trying to run up the left side of the map as ISMC but if you are running around killing at any of the USMC uncaps you are by definition spawn camping.

I think what you mean to say here is not to stop USMC spawn camping or baseraping but to keep the USMC at bay and keep them from advancing on your flags. This is one idea that would work instead of tying your armor up in the streets till you get whacked by a full court press of their armor but just watch out for AT. If they are paying attention they will all start to spawn at the left USMC uncap and light you up Ricky Ticky and your only real choice is to retreat all the way back down the narrow alleyway and I would own your butt there. I like that you have thought outside the box but Karkand is really a bit small with 64 players on it to hide anywhere with armor. Fire, manuever, repair self, hope for infantry report and repeat.

I don't know about this tactic.. seems like after a minute or 2 the TOW and SRAWs would start to fly and you would have very hard time trying to move that T-90 around up there to avoid them.

Also, you'd be spotted after a few kills (at most) and the USMC M1A2/LAVs would show up soon after.
